The first and the most important step is admitting that you suffer from this addiction and later comes detoxification. Some people need medical help, while others decide to use self – detox, as long as their doctor agrees with it.

Your doctor will be able to give you good advice, what to do and what to avoid. Withdrawal phase can have a negative influence on your mental health, make sure to have some friends or relatives staying with you. It would last about one week. Once you managed to clean your body from alcohol, make sure you keep it that way. Use exercises and running to keep your mind off the booze. Intake a lot of water and healthy nutrients to keep your body in shape. Every day try to encourage yourself in many different ways.
